Minolta MD lenses + Sony A7iii= š
Serious, the neatest thing to happen in photography, for me, has been lens adapters and mirrorless camerasā¦that I can now use old manual-focus lenses on modern DSLRsā¦has just opened up SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! We stock Fotodiox adapters.
A couple weeks ago, I went out with a Sony A7iii, a Tenba backpack, an Optechusa camera strap, and 3 Minolta MD lenses from our Used Dept. The lens lineup was classic ā 24mm, 45mm, and 100mm.
It was a such a PLEASURE making photos! With all the automation in our cameras, it was fun to have the focus back in my hands, with lenses that were MADE for manual focus ā that, combined with Focus Peaking and screen-magnification, made manually focusing these lenses easy!
So, what Iām getting at is this ā if you shoot mirrorless, full-frame ā whether itās Sony A-cameras, Canon EOSR, or Nikon Z- you need to consider putting vintage glass on those bodies! We carry a selection of Fotodiox adapters, and what we donāt have, we can get very quickly for you!
I took that kit ā Sony A7iii and Minolta MD 24mm, 45mm, and 100mm around Port Washington, Milwaukee, Riverwest, downtown Milwaukee, and had so much fun making pics!
The @tenbabags backpack was comfy, and minimalist, with a real reasonable price tag. š
And these #MinoltaMD lenses were FANTASTIC! Look at this ā get you a wide-to-tele kit for under $350!!
So, come on over to the store, browse our Used Dept, and letās figure out how to put some vintage glass on your modern mirrorless, full-frame camera!
